Trend 4: Mobile and the demise of the content schedule
Consumers can now watch their favorite shows from multiple devices, and on their own schedule. Tablets, smartphones and DVRs let users control when and where they replay content, including TV shows, music streaming, books and articles.
To make content available 24/7 and meet consumer demand for anytime, anywhere access, content publishers and advertisers must reevaluate their approach to content distribution. Content providers who understand how their audience interacts with content and adapt to the demand for mobile will have a competitive edge.

In the video below, Drew McBath, Sr. Director, Product and Strategic Marketing at Internap, discusses how content owners are responding to this trend.
