Managed Internet Route Optimizer™ (MIRO)
Internap Performance IP™ service, based on our patented Managed Internet Route Optimizer technology, leverages the diversity of our P-NAP architecture to find and use the best routes through the Internet. Performance IP continuously tracks and analyzes data collected from more than 200,000 destination prefixes and up to 11 Internet backbones, considering path characteristics like latency, packet loss, route stability and congestion when making routing decisions. This enables Internap to dynamically and automatically navigate your file content around network congestion, poorly performing links and disabled providers, and continuously adjust the routes that the content uses, without the need for manual intervention. Performance IP optimizes performance and availability resulting in an improved end-user experience.
