Internap Cloud Storage is the first industry cloud storage solution designed to deliver optimized performance with the end-user in mind. You never have to look at file storage on the Internet as a single point solution again.
A Complete Solution From Cloud to Your End-User
Internap Cloud Storage incorporates several key elements to deliver high performance and availability from the “Cloud to Your End-User.” In other words, a complete end-to-end online file storage solution.
Internap Cloud Storage features self-provisioning capabilities that allow customers to purchase storage capacity and network bandwidth as needed, with the ability to quickly and easily scale services up or down.

A Simple Formula
What is “CL + NL = TSL?” and why is it so important?
CL represents latency or delay within the cloud architecture itself. NL represents latency or delay across the network or Internet. So, TSL represents the latency or delay across the entire system from cloud to end-user.
When considering a cloud storage platform, it is important to inquire as to what technologies are in place to ensure optimal performance and reliability of delivery of your files from the cloud to the end-user. Cloud storage should no longer be looked at as a “point” product, but part of a broader solution that addresses the demanding performance and reliability requirements of your end-users.

Premium Data Center Architecture
Data centers do matter when it comes to ensuring availability. That’s why Internap data centers have SAS 70 Type II controls and processes implemented, and are Tier II rated facilities providing N+1 redundancy. These highly secure facilities utilize state-of-the-art power, temperature control, monitoring capabilities, and incorporate Internap’s Private Network Access Point (P-NAP®) architecture.
Internap Private Network Access Point (P-NAP) Architecture
Each P-NAP facility is a localized architecture that houses direct interconnectivity with the major Internet backbone providers. This interconnectivity with major Internet backbones eliminates any dependency for communications traffic on the health of any one backbone. This physical architecture is a critical component to maximize availability of the network from cloud-edge to end-user.
Managed Internet Route Optimizer™ (MIRO)
Internap Performance IP™ service, based on our patented Managed Internet Route Optimizer technology, leverages the diversity of our P-NAP architecture to find and use the best routes through the Internet. Performance IP continuously tracks and analyzes data collected from more than 200,000 destination prefixes and up to 11 Internet backbones, considering path characteristics like latency, packet loss, route stability and congestion when making routing decisions. This enables Internap to dynamically and automatically navigate your file content around network congestion, poorly performing links and disabled providers, and continuously adjust the routes that the content uses, without the need for manual intervention. Performance IP optimizes performance and availability resulting in an improved end-user experience.
Internap is known for its world-class support. Through fully-redundant Network Operations Centers (NOC), Internap personnel work tirelessly to monitor our data centers, networks, and IT infrastructure in support of our customers. This means that your files are available when you need them. In addition,we proactively monitor our services and network and often advise you of an issue before you are aware of it.
We believe in our technology so much that we back it with our Service Level Agreement (SLA), which is like no other in the industry. Our SLA is based on 100% network uptime availability. In addition, we perform proactive crediting should we not meet our commitment. We start crediting you when the event clock starts ticking.
