Internap Corporation, an Atlanta-based provider of high-performance Internet infrastructure services, announced Tuesday the availability of its OpenStack-powered AgileCLOUD at its Secaucus-based data center.
AgileCLOUD is a massively scalable public cloud that allows customers to avoid vendor lock-in and move workloads between disparate cloud environments with minimal development effort.
Satish Hemachandran, senior vice president and general manager, cloud and hosting, at Internap, said these features are essential for businesses as they become more cloud-based.
“As enterprises increasingly adopt OpenStack for private clouds, they require public cloud platforms that provide the same level of interoperability as well as the performance and reliability needed to deploy their mission-critical applications at scale,” he said.
This location is the fourth OpenStack public cloud to adopt AgileCLOUD since the project’s launch in 2014.
